Joining NADOI as a Certified Member means earning our Certification as a dog obedience instructor.

Since 1965 we've been proud to certify the world's best dog trainers. Through a rigorouscertification process, applicants are evaluated by their peers. Certification is offered to those deemed highly qualified, effective dog trainers.

NADOI Certification is a vote of confidence. It says that this member has met the standard set by the Association. Certification says this member’s knowledge and abilities meet the guiding principles stated in NADOI’s Code of Ethics.

NADOI is committed to providing dog training knowledge to our members through our website, our annual conference, our members' email list, Facebook and other social media, and our member newsletter, NADOI NEWS. Information on our website, social media pages, and in our blog, NADOI NOTES, all contribute to improving dog training.
